Wishek native is now Ghanaian chief

Wishek, North Dakota native, Delore Zimmerman is the co-founder of Praxis Africa, an enterprise development and agricultural marketing and communications firm headquartered in Accra, Ghana. The company provides in-country representation services to North American firms seeking business opportunities in West Africa. 


Delore was recently installed as the Development Chief – Nai Awuah Kotoko – for the Awutu-Mannkessim area of Ghana’s central region by Nai Kawao Otou V who will be celebrating his Golden Jubilee as chief in December 2011.

Delore's Ghanaian named is translated as "if you go/leave a thousand more will come."

Over 300 people attended Delore's installation ceremony last week in Ghana in 90 plus degree heat. Thank you to Delore Zimmerman for sharing these photos and details with us. Delore is a thought leader in economic development. He volunteers his time for Wishek and it is exciting to see the impact he is making in Ghana.
