Singing To Remember Our Germans from Russia Heritage (Video)
On Saturday night, the Germans From Russia Heritage Collection visited Wishek with a tour through our community. The evening entertainment included our Wishek Public School choir featuring kids in grades 7-12. Mrs. Janet Wolff is the director and has taught the choir native German from Russia folk songs. Here are a photos and two short videos from the choir's evening of entertainment.
There was a standing ovation for the choir carrying on the Germans from Russia culture. A huge thank you all that visited Wishek on Saturday and Sunday as a part of the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection. ReplyDeleteCan I have you make a slight correction though? In the first paragraph you say "the Germans from Russia Heritage Society" visited, but actually it was the "Germans from Russia Heritage Collection" - which you do refer to in the last paragraph.
