The Wishek Job Development Authority is giving away 3 scholarships for Wishek participants to attend the Rural Leadership ND Short Course!
What is RLND Short Course?
RLND Short Course is offered by he NDSU Extension Service. The purpose of this course is to provide leadership development opportunities. It is a great opportunity to network and become a better leader!
Who Can Attend?
Anyone in south central ND who wants to improve their networking and leadership skills.
What is the Program?
Participants will attend five five-hour sessions from 11am to 4pm.
9/8- Orientation, project discussion, RLND program, group activities to enhance networking skills.
9/22- Understanding behavioral styles of individuals
10/6- Learning Effective Communication Skills
10/20-Understanding and managing conflict
11/10- Rural living topics; assimilating into small communities, seven capitals of healthy communities, how to approach people and get things done.
What is the cost?
Tuition is $250 per participant (includes noon lunch, breaks, and all materials). Three people from Wishek will be awarded a scholarship from the Wishek Job Development Authority to cover the cost of tuition.
