Recently, a woman by the name of Odessa Sherbaniuk, created a twitter movement on why rural rocks (#ReasonsRural Rocks). People from all over have been responding and she recently posted her favorite responses on her blog, Podcasting Through the Prairie.

Often, rural gets a bad reputation. But, for those of us who enjoy views of unspoiled land, fresh air, safety for our children and a sense of community like no other, we know firsthand the advantages of living in a rural place.
